Job Description

RitterTech is seeking an Inside Sales Professional to join our Pewaukee, Wisconsin location. We are a leading distributor of fluid power products and services and offer our customers an extensive product line of over 50 manufacturers. Our services meet the needs of our customers’ industrial application requirements for hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication, and filtration. We are headquartered in Western Pennsylvania and employ approximately 160 employees in multiple locations throughout Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Wisconsin.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner

  • Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications

  • Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profiles

  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns

  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items

  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability

  • Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products to improve product-related sales and customer satisfaction

  • Monitor scheduled shipping dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed

  • Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products

  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction

  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with members of the sales fulfillment team

Skills and Experience for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Industrial sales experience for fluid connector products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong time management skills

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
