The Role: Xylem seeks to hire a Service Technician to perform an interesting variety of electrical and mechanical duties ranging from the wiring, testing, repair and troubleshooting of pumps and parts primarily in the shop. Also performs other duties related to the running and maintenance of the shop.
The successful candidate must have the following:
2 years mechanical and maintenance experience along with 2 years equipment maintenance experience in wastewater collection or treatment systems preferred.
Position requires High School or equivalent plus additional education or specialized training or equivalent experience.
Individual must be able to read simple wiring schematics.
There will be moderate physical demand and exposure to shop elements.
Individual must be a motivated team player.
Timely processing of all service paperwork is essential.
Valid driver's license with good driving record required.
Light construction experience a plus.
