Job Requirements
4 year Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Structural Design (will consider 2 year degree based on equivalent experience)
Minimum 2 years experience in design of large scale structural/mechanical equipment.
Proficient with CAD, ProE, AutoCAD or comparable 3D CAD design software. Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Ability to prepare drawings, BOMs, and EC Notices consistent with Engineering Department Procedures and Work Instructions.
Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete simultaneous multiple assignments.
Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
Preferred Requirements
5
years experience working with the design of large industrial equipment in a customer specified mechanical drafting department.
Proven track record of completing assignments on schedule, meeting all technical specifications and customer requirements.
Understanding of metal fabrication, forming, tolerances and capabilities within the industrial equipment and construction industries.
Experience with R&D and concrete manufacturing industry a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
