SUMMARY: The National Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and implementing marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted following duties personally or through subordinates. This individual is responsible for all marketing and advertising materials throughout the company. .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competition.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives.
Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes necessary action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives are met.
Create strong relationship with branch employees to assist in creating marketing materials and campaigns which are also in line with corporate goals and objectives.
Proactively assess new marketing opportunities via marketing conferences and organizations.
Establish and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, and promotional materials.
Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive
Work within CRM system to establish compliant marketing materials.
Partner with the Compliance and Legal department to ensure all documentation is compliant. Conceive, Develop, coordinate and implement advertising and promotion campaigns, publicity campaigns, event marketing activities and other marketing programs with various outside agencies.
Provide customer and sales input in the development of corporate marketing strategies related to branding, new product development, advertising and publicity, distribution management, etc.
Understand the markets in which the company targets the sale of products and determine where major sales opportunities exist.
Gain a full understanding of the features and benefits of the company's products and/or services to be marketed.
Ensure that products are marketed in accordance with advertising goals, budget objectives and desired product positioning.
Supervise Creative Director Position, overseeing established guidelines and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Individuals in this position shall not engage in loan origination during the course of his/her employment with WMC. Loan origination is defined as (1) taking a residential mortgage loan application; or (2) offering or negotiating terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supervising other marketing staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and a minimum of five years experience in marketing and/or sales. Mortgage experience a plus.

Additional education and/or experience: Requires proven ability to conceive, develop and manage marketing campaigns using a cross-disciplinary approach. Highly motivated, extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Skill set consists of: critical thinking, clarity in speech, written and oral comprehension, and deductive and inductive reasoning; presentation, publishing ability, writing skills, organization, team building across departments, project management.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Experience working with Microsoft Office Products and the internet.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Above average grammar and diction. Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and understand a variety of written materials, some of which are complex. Ability to write professional correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS: Using excellent customer service skills which includes maintaining a good attitude, taking ownership of meeting customer needs, going the "extra mile" for customers, demonstrating a commitment to sharpening skills through education and training, using positive communication, and looking for opportunities to respect customers' time and schedules. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
