As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
A construction crew lead has a solid background in the field.
Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions.
You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.
Primary Responsibilities Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Allocate general and daily responsibilities Supervise and train workers and tradespeople to ensure manpower and resources are adequate Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Required Credentials Proven experience as construction crew leader In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Good physical condition and stamina Driver's license Some in-state travel Steel-toed boots Employee Benefits $25 - $35 per hour w/ opportunity for growth Paid training when applicable 30 and 60-day reviews w/ opportunity of pay increase at each SIMPLE IRA retirement options Paid Time Off accrual Bonus program Insurance stipend Phone allowance Team building events & outings Off weekends & major holidays Company closed week of Christmas and New Years (paid after 6
