If this sounds like you, you may be the perfect fit for our Communications Intern role! We are looking for someone to work through the Fall 2023 semester with the potential to extend their internship into the spring semester and further.
Our marketing team works onsite at our Home Office (Pewaukee, WI) twice a month and works remotely the remaining days.
Our ideal Communications Intern would work onsite with us when available, and complete any remaining hours remotely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assist with content development for materials utilized in a wide range of channels/media including:
social, web, interactive and print advertising, training materials, e-newsletters, direct mail, presentations, editorial articles, news releases, and more Develop engaging and informative corporate communications to internal customers Create content that presents a consistent and positive image of Waterstone Mortgage and aligns with brand strategy and is appropriate to a multitude of audiences Assist with implementation of content management system and the execution of an ongoing content management process Ensure the company's brand strategy/brand voice is consistent across a wide range of channels/media Complete various marketing and administrative tasks as needed Individuals in this position shall not engage in loan origination during the course of his/her employment with WMC.
Loan origination is defined as (1) taking a residential mortgage loan application; or (2) offering or negotiating terms of a residential mortgage loan for compensation or gain; (3) advertising or communicating to the public that you can perform loan origination services.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
